Aberdeen

A Wellness Lifestyle Community

Welcome to Aberdeen

Aberdeen isn’t just a place to call home, it is a community to join that has been carefully crafted to cultivate a stronger connection to people & nature, as well as encourage a more active lifestyle.

Mike Duke has been developing residential and commercial spaces for close to 30 years. With a background in farming and a deep connection to the area, Mike has always sought to be a good steward of the land – helping farmers and families make the most out of their dirt, while designing and proposing high-quality projects to benefit the local community and the families looking to join the community.

Aberdeen was born out of a desire to transform the way we interact as neighbors and provide opportunity to be more connected to what matters most in life. Caring for your neighbor, being close to nature, and investing in your family are all things that point us to something bigger than ourselves – and are fruitful and valuable in and of themselves. So, Aberdeen is a neighborhood designed around these ideas with the vision of creating a thriving community that will live on long beyond the final home build.

Walking trails through Aberdeen invite residents deep in the wooded common space where wildlife is abundant. The community garden, nestled alongside the trails, provides residents with a bountiful harvest including fresh strawberries, peppers, greens, and more. Residents are encouraged to gather some of the produce for themselves or to utilize the space as a retreat from the day-to-day. The Farm at Aberdeen will be a working farm with livestock, row crops, vegetable gardens, and an orchard among other things. This fully functioning farm will provide residents learning opportunities, programmed experiences for the family, and farm-to-table opportunities with the fresh, local produce.

More amenities are on the way in Aberdeen including sports courts like basketball, tennis, and pickleball. Nearby will be the Aberdeen community building featuring exercise space, a golf simulator, and a coffee lounge ideal for reading, connecting with neighbors, or working remotely. Aberdeen will also offer residents planned activities and the opportunity to engage with their neighbors, learn something new, or simply experience something unique and fun. “We are excited about cultivating a place where residents genuinely care about their neighbors, a place where residents don’t just drive into their garage and close it without engaging their immediate community,”says Isaac Duke, member of the Aberdeen development team.
